  • Got the special shrimp and grits. Didn't say it was spicy. I can't have spicy food. So when my food came my boyfriend switched plates with me. Food was good. It just would have been nice to denote that my dish was spicy. There are alot of people that can't have spice and I am one of them. Restaurant was updated and clean. Waiter was nice.

  • Wonderful restaurant with a very old-school type of charm. The food is very good, with lots of options from burgers of the economic side to the "beef and reef" for those who want to spend a little more. I ordered the pork loin chops with garlic mashed potatoes and French onion soup. Got an order of crab cakes as an appetizer, which were very tasty! My date and I took a seat at the bar as we waited for our table. A modest selection of beers, wines, and spirits were available. I had the "Bikini Bottom" ale, which was perfect. I'm definitely returning to try the meatloaf!

  • Still one of my absolute favorite places to go ever since I was a kid and I’m now 30! I’ve tried so many French onion soups around the US and nothing is better than Miss Mamies. I miss the old decor though. It used to look more upscale but the new revamp makes it look business casual. I miss that old school fine dining look. I wish they wouldn’t have changed it.

  • Great service. All the food was good, with a good presentation. They make their own breaded Pork Tenderloins, not out of a frozen box. Good portion sizes of everything. They have really improved from the last time I stopped there.

  • A Fantastic Dining Experience! During a short getaway, we decided to try this spot—and we’re thrilled we did! Our server, Cheryl, was incredibly friendly and offered spot‑on recommendations. The coconut shrimp appetizer was absolutely divine, and the catfish special was equally delicious. We couldn’t get enough of the homemade bread pudding—it’s truly to die for! And those dinner rolls? Hands down the best I’ve ever enjoyed in a restaurant. We’ll definitely be adding this diner to our repeat‑visit list. Thank you, Cheryl, for making our evening so memorable!

  • What a great experience. Clean, nice, quiet atmosphere. Cheryl my waitress was spot on and provided top notch service. Food was absolutely delicious and cooked plus seasoned perfectly. I would have given 5 stars but the parking lot was terrible and needs to be fixed.

  • Haven't been here in years. Met my daughter for lunch and had the meatloaf while she.had a Rueben. Both very good with service being good. Not the best ambiance but had a full bar for the evenings.
